In the last couple of weeks I've come to appreciate how valuable Blender is in creating and creating 3D terrains to use in 3DVista. It is challenging to trouble shoot when you're just starting. I came across the GIS add on this morning: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mj7Z1P2hUWk&list=WL&index=141&t=184s There's been a couple of changes in the intervening 2+ years, the need for an API key from opentopography.org. I've registered for a key and put it in the Addon but not seeing anything yet. I think it may be obvious to some who knows Blender better than me. Any suggestions? I think this will be of interest to anyone wanting to make terrain models from Google, bing etc satellite images.
