It's launched!! Crowdfunding for 360Crafter • new 360° virtual tour software
I'm super excited to share with everyone that I've launched my Kickstarter campaign for 360Crafter.
Unlike any other 360° virtual tour software that is closed source, 360Crafter is going to be public source available. And so many more things to explore with 360Crafter. Learn more about the project with the link below and let me know if you have any questions!!
Looking for 75 professionals in the 360° industry that are willing to invest in this and claim the best possible deal I'll ever offer during August.

Wish you all the best
Sivan VR creator Thank you very much!
Hi Ronald,
I noticed you didn't show the 360 viewer itself - what you demonstrated appears to be a combination of a 360 creation tool and viewer. Are you planning to implement modern web development technologies, particularly state management? This would help solve the issue I face in 3D Vista where I currently need to create dozens of copies of the same button.
Andrii Ko What do you mean by the 360 viewer itself instead of a combination of 360creation tool and viewer? You mean the exported end result?
Absolutely Andrii. State management is such a pain in 3DVista which I struggled with myself for far too long. Both skin and hotspots. It's on the roadmap
States need to fill very similar to how Webflow & Webstudio do this.
Yes, exactly - I meant the exported end result that clients/users would see, not the editor interface.
Great to hear state management is on the roadmap! The Webflow/Webstudio approach sounds perfect. This would be a game-changer compared to 3DVista's current limitations with skins and hotspots. Looking forward to seeing this implemented. Thanks for clarifying!
Hi Ronald,
I'm a new backer 👍. I really like your project (which has similarities to the model of ActivePieces in the no-code automation space).
My first suggestion: Despite the current Kanban roadmap, in order to avoid multiple comments here or in YT or FB, it would be ideal (for better visibility, unification, collaboration) if backers and prospective users could publish bug reports and feature requests that can be voted on. For instance, using a free Featurebase account (e.g. 🌐360crafter.featurebase.app), allows to access both Feedback and Roadmap in a single website.
Heyy Lucho!
Awesome 🙌🫸 🫷And thank you for the extra donation on top of it 🙏
I've heard of ActivePieces but never really tried it. Which similarities do you spot? 🙃
I'll think about it! I know it does need more attention to organize bug reports and feature requests. I see that the voting can be very useful. I know that some other devs are keeping everything on gitlab/github.
Featurebase looks pretty good. Only thing I am always very mindful about is vendor lockin, even if it's free. Recently my virtual office with their free tier (gather.town) decided to kill that free tier and force everyone to make a decission to either pay or leave. That's kind of the whole thing about having source code available haha 😁
Hi back Ronald
Main similarities are open-source, data control, unlimited free self-hosted and paid cloud solution. More info about ActivePieces :

In particular, the open-source approach of AP with a plugin system might be interesting for building a community-centered development ecosystem.
You are right about vendor-locking concerns, here's the privacy policy of Featurebase https://www.featurebase.app/privacy-policy. Otherwise, a good example of feedback with voting on Github is the repository of Zettel Notes (categories in the Discussions tab are quite useful) https://github.com/damionx7/Zettel-Notes-Documentation/discussions
Thank you Lucho!! 🙏
